Photoplasty has always sucked.

That said, Cracked hasn't been worth the bandwidth for years now.

You thought a click-bait site cares about genuine journalism?

It used to be pretty funny.

I used to read it for seanbaby, now I mostly just straggle in occasionally for Bucholz or Evans. I used to just frown at the articles I disliked, but for the last year or so I've graduated to some pretty heavy eye-rolling.

Seanbaby.com is a fucking comedy goldmine. I check up on it occasionally but he hardly ever updates and will vanish for years at a time.

When? I've always known cracked as a lazy, immature version of rolling stone.

I used to like Cracked maybe 5-6 years ago. I thought that maybe it's because I use to be lazy and immature as well, but then I realized I still am those things. I don't know, I feel that they managed to become even more clickbaity as time went on. Like most of my problems, I blame it on Buzzfeed.

Thats not right at all. Cracked was the poor man's Mad magazine. They just managed to find a format to be relevant in the Internet age.

It still has it's moments and, while not exactly fully comedic, I really enjoy their video content especially as it relates to film and TV.

You would be Wong.

O since 2013ish is when it really went downhill, its used to be very funny

Now it's another click bait site

[–]remote_productionTrainee-0516 13ポイント14ポイント  (3子コメント)

I check it when I'm having my cereal or to decompress and read something mindless.

I find it amazing when the title of an article will change multiple times through the day.

[–]Mordekai99Trainee_0316 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

Does that happen?

They probably do that to get people to click on the same article multiple times and rake in that web ad money.

[–]remote_productionTrainee-0516 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

Oh for sure. And I've fell for it

It is funny. This is what their readers submitted, which tends to be much weaker. Their original material written by their staff writers is generally pretty good 7 or 8 out of 10.

As many people have pointed out, this is user submitted and thus not really indicative of the quality of their actual writing. Their staff articles have gone downhill too though and I think it's tied with their hiring binge around 3-4 years ago.

When has Cracked not been retarded?

I mean I still enjoy some of the stuff that gets posted there but it's never exactly been a paragon of logic and virtue.

i used to like cracked a lot when they had articles exposing things that were bullshit. but now their articles ARE bullshit, but if you point this out in the comments you get banned. also, can they be any more obsessed with video games, "fight club" and "the matrix"??

Three years ago I think.

How is the Micheal Jackson one even alien-related?

[–]Digging_For_Ostrich 6ポイント7ポイント  (0子コメント)

Because ad reven... sorry, aliens.

Because he's part of the alien lizard mole people illuminati, duh

The title is about conspiracies AND aliens. So I guess it would be covered under the conspiracy.

Took my by surprise too. Thought it was an ad.

When it became a website instead of a cheap ripoff of Mad Magazine.

Do they seriously think a blurry guy in poor lighting is a-

Y'know what, nevermind. It's blurry, it's in poor lighting. They think it's whatever they want it to think.
