One of the biggest trollings of /r/conspiracy has taken place. 4700+ upvotes and still on front page. OP claims he was tricked as well and tries to point blame at Kim Dotcom. (self.SubredditDrama)

This is one of those dramas where you really need to take the time to read through the comments and posts well to truly appreciate the popcorn. This does appear to be OP's first ever /r/conspiracy post.

This was removed once for not having enough drama, #8 /r/conspiracy post of all time being a hoax isn't a dramatic happening apparently, but I realized I had linked to an image of the van not his post. So now the post contains and extra 99 comments where he is found out.

So hopefully this time it that counts as enough drama.

FVX Research (alleged FBI front) is now denying any connection to the FBI/government. It's complete bullshit, and here's why... [xpost /r/technology]

Well that was fast... It's only been ~10 hours since I posted that album reporting on the FVX Research website, and I shit you not... I just peaked out my window and see an unusual white van I've never seen before at this house. Should I seriously be worried???

Ok real talk... When I made the post I thought for sure I found something pretty serious and damning. It wasn't until those retarded tweets and the FVX Research page changing to that fat fuck Kim Dotcom did I suspect this might all be fake. I've been played just like you folks. I tried to make the best of it with my van post. I honestly don't know what to make of the situation now. The tweets have been removed and the webpage is back to normal, but something seems not right.

For one, the FVX Research website forwarded to Deadmau5 twitter last night before this all went down. IIRC Kim Dotcom has a huge boner for Deadmau5. I suspect this could be an elaborate prank by that fucking idiot to promote his shitty Mega site that no one uses, and we all fell for it, even me, the person who enabled it :| I apologize /r/conspiracy if this turns out to be BS, I'm as taken as you folks are.

The few posts calling out the trolling like this one did not receive many upvotes, as you can see here, so the vast majority still do not know it was fake.

Guys and gals, OP is trolling: The whois record for fvxresearch.com shows the site was created/registered yesterday. Pretty elaborate, and pretty telling about what we'll believe. Had me fooled until the white van bullshit.

      This is why conspiracy theories never really die. Once you invent one, it takes on a life of its own and perpetually contrives ways to keep itself alive.

      Like the crop circles. The original crop circle hoaxers came forward, demonstrated how they did it. Didn't matter to crop circle believers at all. They kept believing it was aliens.

                Real news reported that the use of FBI's use of planes for surveillance over US cities was fairly extensive. It really was old news, but for some reason it blew up. Turns out the FBI is using shell corps as cover for these operations and one of those companies is FVX.

                So I jumped down the rabbit hole, and in an old conspiracy post found a timeline. In that timeline it was claimed 'the launch of Skylab and associated rocket exhaust gasses ... halved the total electron content of the ionosphere for 3 hours'.

                That is mind-blowingly fucking impressive no matter whether it is true or false. If it's true, then mankind has the ability either to sieve out a particular type of subatomic particle, and presumably store it someplace for a couple of hours before returning it (evenly dispersed worldwide of course), or that we can breach the conservation of matter/energy laws by destroying and then recreating electrons, again globally.

                If it's false, then it's still impressive just how mentally absent someone can be and still successfully post a comment on a website.
