he's not a species therefore he can't be in the familia Felidae.

I think the problem here is that you think taxonomy only deals with species in the reproductive sense, not in the sense of the genetic history of the organism. The former was a good approach when molecular techniques weren't available, but now, how do you suppose scientist make sense of sterile plant hybrids or lineages of easily hybridising species? Ignore it because it's technically not a species in one sense?

If accept an organism takes genetic material from both parent lineages. In this case both are Felidae, why would resulting animal not in Felidae? Do hybrid animals just exist in some sort of non-existence in scientific classifications?

While it does not exclude the possibility of exotic pairings such as silane/mathane, by abundance and their properties, water and carbon are the most likely candidates for extraterrestrial lifeforms.

My point is that there are certain physicochemistry limitations that allow the kind of diverse chemical configurations to occur, so we're unlikely to see noble gas or technetium based lifeforms.

help 内の [deleted] によるリンク Why do my posts NEVER show up in r/askscience ?

[–]zephirum 1ポイント2ポイント  (0子コメント)

AskScience mod here. We bin all posts then manually review and let them out (hence our massive mod team). Sometimes, we don't have enough people online and posts get left in the spam filter for too long and it drops off the radar. Additionally, we try and explain why we keep certain posts in the filter (see our guidelines for types of questions to avoid), however sometimes a question is simply unsuitable and mods don't always have time to provide a customised message to explain why.

Here's the best practice. If your post have no appeared in ~3 hours. Please send us a modmail with a link to the post in question. We try our best to respond to modmails and provide suggestions to modify your question if your post was not approved. If your post was then approve, it will appear on top of the new queue.

Thanks.
