Currently I am using the 2k, because damned does importing a dds file suck. Glad you got it working! I have also found that spacescape is a bit odd in its settings.

I ended up using this. However I ended up exporting it for OGRE instead of UE. Because when you export it for UE it is all wonky. I also found a patch that I tried. However I think it was on the patched version that I tried OGRE but I do not recall exactly

This is the settings used on the import, it is important nomipmaps is set. These are the material settings I used. I applied them to a skysphere. I would be glad to help if this doesn't work andthis was the result I got. The lines you see are because there is glass without reflection set up yet.

Took me forever to get it to not look like shit. I should probably put together what I learned in a simple image based tutorial..

What kind of skybox are you using? Is it a space skybox or something else? Because all the space scene tutorials I have seen make terrible screen shots and it took me forever to figure out how to do it.

I can't speak for others but a high sugar for a long time my skin has a burning sensation and is more sensative. Along with muscle aches, nausia and dehydration. It is seriously a terrible sensation by itself.

See that is the opposite of me. I have everything as boxes because I cannot 3d model worth a damn lol. So any actor I have is a cube that does stuff. Keep this up and you will definitely continue wowing people.

I nearly scored a perfect 100% in an anthropology class at university. However I got a 9/10 on a single paper because I was being "Too scientific in my analasys". What the fuck, anthropology is a science! I had never done so well in any other class before and I was so proud of myself to then get docked a single point for something like that.

That is seriously impressive. Now I feel like my skills are crap if you did this in a few days! Do you have previous game design experience?

As far as C&C I would agree with other people. A wind noise with leaves rustling would be a good addition to help the general ambiance. But the overall feel is amazing for such a short amount of time. Without polishing this already is better than a lot of things I see in videos. I am suspecting this is a game where you control the units and they gather resources to build up a base or forces?

I would love to hear how you did some of this as well.

My suspicion is hubris. They know their source of money will go away if the regime falls. But they also know if they do the right things they will live and stay in power. They likely think they they can handle it.
