Honestly, they seem to be just a rehash of the KKK or stormfront, but reverse. Instead of minority peps being the root of all problems in the world, it's white people, and we need to separate keep them apart at all costs, to keep them from white taint or something.

Personally, don't know if it's between the last few years filled with riots before the facts were even given or all the "trolls" posting /pol/ tier stuff, but i'm starting to see diversity of type of people as a weakness, but diversity of ideas a strength.

Yeah, concept of "cultural appropriation" always seemed fishy to me.

Everything I learned about it so far seemed like someone said "oh no, my beloved nation will dirty themselves with culture of those savages", followed by "those savages need to be converted!" and then made a round-about "politically correct" way to ensure that culture mix will happen only in one direction.

Needless to say I really don't like that.

EDIT: grammar

I'd wager though that SJWs are, in addition to being anti-cosmopolitan, also extreme cosmopolitans...save for their own cultures.

These people would rather that all cultures be bulldozed or "reappropriated" of their problematic, divisive and toxic natures in the name of progress or mankind...except their own particular ones, which is elevated as an universal absolute. Sort of like "we are all the same, except for thee, shitlord."

Trying to keep things 'us and them' will just make more problems

See, they don't understand this and would rather have everyone fighting each other instead of advancing society.

Seems to me they're hypocritical segregationists. They're just bundling all minority percieved offenses under their banner for power attention and influence.

The price is your own voice and interests. We are all post colonial children with a mixture of influences.

What exactily is cosmopolitan anyway?

Vodka, triple sec, lime, and cranberry juice

First, use Cointreau instead of triple sec. Triple sec is too cloyingly-sweet.

Second, that's the California recipe for a cosmopolitan... which is IMO the best recipe. However, in New York, a "cosmopolitan" is lemon vodka, Cointreau and cranberry juice, with no lime.

I can't understand why people don't like it

Its really nice when done right, but since it got popular after Sex in the City, most bartenders just half ass the mix, and make it far too sweet.

it got popular after Sex in the City

So did herpes but I wouldn't recommend either.

Welp, that shows how little I know about bartending.
