MERS患者が搭乗したアシアナ機、消毒しないまま名古屋までフライト

重い肺炎などを引き起こす中東呼吸器症候群（MERS＝マーズ）の感染者が搭乗した旅客機が、消毒されないまま、名古屋市近くの中部国際空港までフライトしていたことが分かった。感染の確認が遅れたことが原因。韓国紙「朝鮮日報」の経済ニュースサイト「韓国ビズ」が5月31日に報じた。

アシアナ航空によると、26日に（感染者の）Kさんが乗っていた仁川発香港行の723便は、MERS感染者が搭乗した事実を知らずにこの日の午後、香港での乗客を乗せ、韓国の仁川に戻ってきた。

この旅客機は27日にも、仁川と中国の大連、名古屋を往復しており、中国の長沙に到着したときに、疾病管理本部から「26日にMERS感染者が搭乗した」と通知を受けた。アシアナ航空は28日未明、中国長沙の乗客を乗せて仁川に戻ってきた723便に消毒作業を実施した。

FlightAwareの運航データによると、問題となったアシアナ航空723便の飛行機は、エアバスA321だった。

■「患者との接触はない」男性がウソの説明

5月26日、韓国人の男性会社員（44）は、出張のために723便で香港入りした。産経ニュースによると、男性は家族がMERSに感染し自身も発熱していた。しかし男性は、香港国際空港で検査を受けた際に「患者との接触はない」と検疫官に虚偽の説明をして入境。そのまま中国広東省の恵州市にバスで移動した。27日夜になって韓国政府からの通報を受けた中国当局が、男性を恵州市のホテルで見つけ、病院に隔離。感染が確認されたという。

香港政府は5月29日、723便に搭乗して、席が近かった「濃厚接触者」の韓国人3人と中国人9人の計12人を強制隔離すると発表した。MERS患者と同時に723便に乗った人の中に、日本人はいなかったという。世界保健機関（WHO）によると、MERSの感染者はこれまでに1100人以上が確認され、約430人が死亡している。韓国では6月2日、2人の死亡が確認された。

日本の厚生労働省では、「MERSは、海外の感染予防対策が不十分な医療機関等においては、患者から医療従事者や他の患者に感染（二次感染）した例が報告されている。しかし、季節性インフルエンザのように、次々に人から人へ感染することはない」と説明している。


