No. Slavery has been a staple for various cultures throughout human history. Europeans were not the first and they were not the last. Slavery is much more than "Europeans had African slaves in the Americas".

Historians agree that the Trans-Atlantic slave trade was, as a whole, a systematic system of enslavement in a way that it was a whole other breed of slavery. Yes, slavery existed elsewhere and across other cultures but the conditions endured by these slaves and the fact that they had a nil chance of advancement out of enslavement makes slavery in the Americas a bit different than elsewhere.
