I don't have anything against the girl. I do, however, take issue with her faith. Along with every other outdated belief system that threatens the future of mankind with its ignorant embrace of delusion to escape from reality.

And it does threaten mankind. It threatens us advancing as a species by encouraging people to find bliss in poverty and ignorance and to accept being dominated absolutely. Live a simple life. Pray. Uphold the rituals or the big angry bitch who supposedly created everything will strike down like a petulant little child and doom you forever for not kissing his ass. Even supposing its existence, I would sooner suffer for all eternity than bow to such a horrible being. I would rather fight a futile battle and let my actions echo in time than simply submit to such a tyrant.

If you hold a belief that you must bow before such a being and that is your faith that you embrace beyond all else, then your faith is wrong. Your faith betrays the manifest destiny of humanity to ascend. Your faith betrays the memory of all who have lived and died in the history of the world.

Love one another. Help one another. Protect one another. Improve yourselves. Improve your community. Build. Debate. Philosophize. Take every concept you come across and study it even if you find it despicable at first glance. Try to avoid bandwagons. Realize that those who cannot accept reality are to be pitied and not hated. Because coming to accept reality is truly difficult because it removes all the padding people have traditionally relied on to answer the tough questions of existence. Death is truly in permanence and so it is the enemy of man as much as any disease. Those who die are lost forever save for in our memory, and even if we cannot live to benefit it we must strive to defeat death for the sake of all those who have ever suffered it.
