Ross Ulbricht is Innocent. All he did was program computers. By submitting this text post, I have programmed a computer.

True, and your programming of a computer was not intended to facilitate illegal acts.

Nope. You're allowed to oppose the war on drugs, and millions of Americans do.

Ross Ulbricht is not the Dread Pirate Roberts.

According to his own diary, he was in fact the Dread Pirate Roberts. It turns out one should not diary one's illegaal acts.

Saying he ran a drug business is like saying I work for Uber or Lyft. Uber and Lyft are phone apps, not companies (I know there are also companies by those name)

So you can work for those companies, and many people do. Good to know.

Wrong. There aren't that many people in the federal prisons.

Darth Vader only hired hitmen for one person, and Vader wanted him alive. Ulbricht is worse than Vader.

Most drug lords don't know the dudes at the bottom of the organization. That does not excuse them.

Ah there you're mistaken because he didn't run anything. He programed a computer that let people communicate somehow. That's not exactly Scarface. I'm not sure the drafters of the RICO act quite had him in mind.

Drugs are not illegal per se. Certain drug activities are illegal.

My diary says im very important . Sometimes I leave a pen and paper out where just anybody can leave messages even drug dealers. It's on a community bulletin board and you need a secret decoder ring only available in Kellogs brand cereal to read it. Btw I'm in Tahiti running around naked most of the time but when the paper gets worn out I put a new shhet up. Can you guess my occupation?

And that's a white collar drug ring. He deserves to rot in prison as much as the people he emulated.
