The more I read into the article, the funnier it becomes. I'm pretty sure I read it wrong, because otherwise it mentions how the Nazis escaped to Iceland after WW2 and a whole bunch of them continued their lives there. And something about a German explorer that sailed his ship in the wrong direction while looking for the 'cool and pristine fastness' of the North Pole.

The first part of the article is interesting because it still talks about the occult. Still pretty disturbing though.

At that point, the word Aryan came to denote the highest, purest and most honourable racial group. This historical scheme was added to by other thinkers such as Christian Lassen, who stated that the Indo- Germans were inherently biologically superior to the Semites.

The French writer Ernest Renan believed that selective breeding in the future would result in the eventual creation of 'gods and devas'.

Bullock found "no evidence to support the once popular belief that Hitler resorted to astrology" and wrote that Hitler ridiculed those like Himmler in his own party who wanted to re-establish pagan mythology, and Hess who believed in Astrology. Albert Speer wrote that Hitler had a negative view toward Himmler and Rosenberg's mystical notions. Speer quotes Hitler as having said of Himmler's attempt to mythologize the SS:

Here's what I wrote:

Their success doesn't have to have anything to do with the occult. The other conditions were all perfect for everything to happen just as it did.

You probably didn't notice it says "doesn't have to have" which means "isn't necessarily so". You probably read it merely as "doesn't have anything to do with the occult." Which is a completely different meaning.

My belief is their "hella successfulness" may have had a little to do with the occult, but the raging occultist boner to jump to conclusions is not precision thinking in the slightest. The mundane facts alone could have easily explained their "hella successfulness" without resorting to occult explanations. Sure, magick tends to look like "coincidence" from a materialist perspective, but their occultism was a complete clusterfuck. I've read plenty of books about Nazi occult history and their occult gumbo they were working on. Oh, and Crowley overthrew their powerful multi-cultural magick with a simple "V" hand signal, I'm sure!

I'd love to read something that was really well-documented and proves Nazi rocket scientists were involved in the occult, if you have it. That means no Farrell, Flowers or Feral House. The extent of occult involvement in the Nazi party seems fairly limited to a select group of people who had a lot of trouble getting their shit together and staying on the same page. And getting Hitler on that page.

Wernher von Braun is not the only nazi rocket scientist, but he is a rather famous one. After WWII, he was snagged to work under Jack Parsons, whose occult interest is a well-documented fact; it was embarrassing to his hero, Aleister Crowley, and embarrassing to the US government. Wernher von Braun didn't want credit for anything Parsons did (he said Parsons was the "true father of the American space race") and, though von Braun supposedly said some things about aliens, I have never heard of him saying anything remotely occult-flavored. Have you? He was an unashamedly Christian religious man, so there was plenty of opportunity for him to say something esoteric if he wanted to.

You're emotional reaction and weak attempt to be insulting betrays your baseless argument. The S.S. ran the religious element of the Nazi party and set an example that the Church, the U.S. Gov, or any other political organization that understands the need/usefulness of exploiting Belief would be proud of. Hell, the Saudis are currently doing it with Isis ( again bringing us back to the double thunderbolt of the SS.) I understand that people get butt hurt when someone mentions Nazi's but there have been more than a few other genocides to get upset about since then without the scholarly boon the SS bequeathed relating text & and practice about Patriarch faiths & and the Black Sun. Your loss is all. Lastly, there are plenty of individuals who give their entire lives over to the study of a subject and still get it wrong. Your twenty five year milestone means nothing except that you've already reached the bottom of your critical thinking bag.
