Homosexuals do not and should not represent the LGBT community. Gay people often use their experiences of homophobia to excuse and disguise their biphobia because perceived heteronormativity makes them uncomfortable. They use it to push bisexual folk out of queer spaces. Let’s not even pretend that it’s cisheteronormativity that makes gay people uncomfortable; I mean, these are the same transphobes and transmisogynists who idolise and uphold the gold star doctrine.
