being created with a purpose by a God with a Will and spontaneous activity of someone like Krishna or Shiva.

Here I need to say that both the theories are wrong. Your life is your creation. You can do anything and everything. I am not saying that there are no "reasons". But they are your doing, only unconsciously. You just need to bring yourself to a higher conscious level to see how they actually work.

hinduism 内の Svayam_Bhagavan によるリンク What Decides Our Success BY Sadhguru

[–]Svayam_Bhagavan[S] -1ポイント0ポイント  (0子コメント)

Perception that is being referred to here is about the right perspective of things. The people who are successful are so focused on their work that they grow only in their field. Only one aspect of their lives grow, rest is as it is. This is not how a human being should be. He should have an "all round" development.

He is talking about being a full fledged human being, meaning knowing your true Self. What he didn't say explicitly was that you will be able to do anything once you are a full fledged human being or knower of Self. Then, you will be successful in anything. Not just your work. That is how you should be successful, not one-sided.

Let me clarify it once and for all. The level of hardcoreness that these people have in their methods, is much more than the ones you have mentioned. It makes sense. If you want to give things to lots of people, it needs to be toned down and less expensive/free. But when you are giving hardcore stuff, stuff that can really blur the line between reality and maya, then you can charge anything you want and still be okay. It is not for everyone. It is only for people who want to make it in this lifetime, not a 100 lifetimes later...

vasanas/karmic imprints are not the same as reasons.

They are. Let me explain. Any person (for that matter any living being), makes a choice to perform certain action based on the choices that he perceives that he has. Now, due to his past karma, he can't really see all the choices that are present. He only sees the ones not being blocked by his karma. Think of it like a umbrella with holes on a sunny day. He can only see light through the tiny holes. If he removes the umbrella, he can see the whole sky . If a person is not influenced by his karmic memory, only then he can perform an action by seeing all the choices. Otherwise, by looking at his karmic memory, you can clearly predict what he is going to do. Vasanas are tendencies like thirst, sexual desire, love for music etc. It is just a lump of similar karmic memory pulling you in a certain direction.

So, basically if you know the karmic memory, you can predict what a man can do and also know what he has done. Inanimate objects cannot modify their karma as fast as living, so it is much easier to predict them. Hence, all this creation is basically a large bubble where people just create and dispense karma. Everything has a karmic memory.

actions needn't have reasons/beliefs in indian traditions

That is what I want to say is not true. See, every form and every event is basically some sort of a karmic memory being played out. With your or without your understanding. If you know what is at play, you live like a god himself, otherwise you will go thinking that your life is not in your hands. You can see this video I posted about Sadhguru talking about everything being just a play of 5 elements.

You are misunderstanding Christianity by projecting your notions onto it.

I am not commenting on Christianity. I was saying that since our philosophy believes in brahman or truth, anything and everything has a reason behind it, and cannot be hence false.

distinction between true God and devil is crucial

I understand why they have to do this. But, I am not against that also. All my point is that truth pervades all. There is nothing that isn't here without a cause, hence nothing is false.

Instead of laughing at this

Personally, I only have pity for them. They don't even know their religion properly to comment on others.

Instead of saying that even our god is the true god

I never said that. I don't prescribe to such things. The only thing I claim is that there is a nirguna bhagavan or bhrahman or truth which pervades everything. So there is nothing which isn't god. So, how is that our god or your god? The gods claimed to be true or false are made from the same brahman. So how can any god or anything be false/untrue?

The rule existed at a time where there was no media, TV, internet etc. If you need to promote yourself, you need money. If you want to rent a decent room, you need to pay lots of money, if the owner comes to know that you are doing a yoga class. The rule was true when students came to teachers and stayed in the ashram. Now teacher have to look for students. So the times have changed to kalayuga. Students are not going to come themselves.

Nothing much. Just that I feel always alive and refreshed after meditation. I used to really lazy before, now I just do what needs to be done, without anyone asking.

I would recommend that don't look for "experiences" right in the beginning. If you do manage to have some experiences, you won't be able to replicate them too often. This will frustrate you. So, just chill and keep up with the practices.

india 内の bajrangi_bhaijaan によるリンク Bihar doctor, wife and their Audi go missing

[–]Svayam_Bhagavan -1ポイント0ポイント  (0子コメント)

They deserved it.

Gaya is a very poor district. The only income that they have there is from the tourists who are charged exorbitant prices. He must have bought the Audi with that money only. Also, almost all doctors in the world are like that, barring a very few dedicated ones. I have zero sympathy for him or his wife or his Audi. IMA is also a scam, a front for doctors to loot the people. People need to wake up to the doctors who play with the lives of people. They do not provide a good service for the money they charge. The hygiene and medical standards have been neglected. So, no wonder people are pissed and some of the most proactive among them are resorting to kidnapping. The kidnapper should be awarded to bring into focus such issues. The country needs a bill to curb the doctor fees and medical expenses.

You can't fuck in the land of Buddha and not expect some karmic backlash.

No need to thank me. You deserved it. It was because of your karma that you were here and you could get this information. Now, use it properly and increase your knowledge and maybe you can share it with others too. This is how life should be lived. Gain gyaan yourself and pass it onto others. Life is so simple...

The Hindu gets too tedious to read at times. /r/india is my dosage of desi gyaan.

Very few people read Hindu for fun. Are you preparing for civil services?

What does your username mean?

Literal translation: God himself.

Not high. Just putting to words things that I see day in and day out. I just feel funny sometimes how people are caught up in their own cycle of karma. Only they can free themselves by doing the right action, which can only be known by having the right knowledge or gyaan.

Okay. So here is the analysis. You want some things in life. Lets say money, power, status etc. To achieve those ends you thought that getting a degree will help. So you are at a college doing these things to only get a what you want. All the problems that you are facing are because of your own choice to get the degree. There is no need to feel sympathy for yourself or for others. The only thing you can do is get some more knowledge on how to deal with the situation better and get what you are seeking. Or you can just go with the flow and accept everything as it comes. Both ways will make your life happy and satisfied.

Explains all those lower caste people, right? Or anyone who's a victim of a crime?

Of course. There are many actions made by people when they are unaware of the consequences. You could offend or hurt someone unknowingly/unintentionally. Take the example of low caste people. Don't think that low caste people remain low caste for long. There are innumerable examples of low caste people moving upward in the society. The rest don't become so because of basically two reasons: either they don't want to do the work or they don't know what to do to get out of the mess that they are in. The first problem can't be solved and the second one requires knowledge or gyaan.

If it is, can a murder victim be unmurdered, or robbery victim be unrobbered if he takes the right actions?

Within 48 hours of death, and if the body is not too damaged, there are occult practices to bring you back to life. Longer than that and if the body is too badly damaged, then it is better to get reborn normally through a womb.

About the robbery victim, that is very easy to fix. Unless the person destroys the object, there are ways to locate it. It depends on the object being stolen. There are ways to "see" where things are and you could go and recover them. Occult practices are not recommended though for such things. Better to put your important things in a locker and safe.
