The point is that shadiness from black queens (or queens like ginger who are big) is magnified. In contrast, the shadiness of conventionally attractive or white skinny queens is ignored or celebrated.

She seems to be beloved by the other queens...wouldn't their collective take on her be more informed than what we got as the audience seeing a highly edited and condensed view of the series? I'm not saying it isn't valid to respond to the character Ginger Minj as presented on the show; but surely we're all savvy enough at this point to realize that RPDR-produced Ginger Minj is probably entirely different than the authentic Ginger Minj.

The same goes with everybody else. You don't see the other queens fawning over Max, even though the show portrays her as very endearing and sweet.

This whole show is built on being bitch and shady and entertaining and then suddenly, this season, which is pretty damn tame compared to those past, it's totally NOT OK to say anything shady. Ever. Ginger is literally Hitler.
