Please read the article before commenting like this. You need to have more facts, as you noted that you "don't know anything about their personal journeys." It is certainly hypocritical to say one thing and then do another.

This man made a mistake as a boy and he and those who he harmed received a lot of help in order to overcome their problems. Should he be forever branded as a deviant for one mistake, which he has clearly worked on resolving in the ensuing years? Of course not. We're all imperfect, and we shouldn't kill the messenger simply because he's imperfect. We're all imperfect and if a microscope was put on our lives, I'm sure we'd all be called "hypocrites" in one way or another.

The point is that the ones who are branding this man as a hypocrite and an awful human being for one mistake years ago are quick to turn a blind eye on others' even more grievous mistakes, which makes them hypocrites for not applying the same standards to everyone.

He's a hypocrite for molesting his sisters and then getting a job at a place that decries homosexuality as a threat to the family. 14 years old is plenty old enough to know better, so I don't buy the B.S. "he was just a kid" thing. I knew damn well by 14 that I should never touch my sister or any other girl.

I do agree that there's often hypocritical coverage of these social events out there. I just disagree with the title right off the start, I think him and his parents are hypocrites too. Hopefully for their sake they got some therapy and figured this shit out.

Edit: also, I did read the article. Barely. I can't stand Matt Walsh.

Bill Clinton, anyone?

Not that the 2 are equal. Bill is actually much, much worse. Bill used his position of power and influence to persuade and manipulate young women into sexual intercourse. Josh's hormones got the best of him, and he has changed (according to all those involved). What he did was terrible, but it is much, much less criminal and devious than what Bill Clinton did.

Bill Clinton is a liberal hero who commands 6 figure speaking fees now. I can't even wrap my mind around that. Think about that:

Bill Clinton used his power and influence to manipulate and coerce young women into having sex with him, and now he is a liberal hero

Who is on the "wrong side of history", again?

Yeah, I would never sit here and defend Bill Clinton. That man was (and maybe still is) a sleaze. But Bill Clinton isn't lecturing me on family values, either.
