Those look like cops busting out the window. You got any context?

Yes, the original video is here. He was not complying at a border patrol checkpoint and after being warned several times that he was going to have the window broken if he didn't cooperate the officer broke it to extract him.

How can people like that take themselves seriously? It takes a special kind of dickhead to go into that situation with the full intention of being as difficult and suspicious as possible, spout off laws that you barely have a grasp of, then scream corruption when what you knew was going to happen actually happened.

The driver was in the right. He doesn't have to say anything (Fifth Amendment) and he doesn't have to get out of his truck or allow them into it (Fourth Amendment). This was an interior 'border' checkpoint where the government stops citizens without suspicion and demands their papers. Superficially, these are for illegal immigration, but they all have drug sniffing dogs. Unless dogs can suddenly also smell citizenship, they have no business being there since drug checkpoints are illegal.

I hear you, these people are absolutely ridiculous. I originally came across the video on /r/amibeingdetained and there are tons of videos like this over there. Some people just have a need to make everything far more difficult than it has to be.

I don't think he was in the wrong here, he should have gotten out and contested the case later. But the policeman wasn't allowed to do that.

He was under no obligation to comply with anything. The officers here actually violated his Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights. It happens all the time at these Patriot Act-created interior 'border' checkpoints. Americans are literally being stopped while traveling inside the country (which, yes, is a Constitutionally protected right) and asked for their papers. As much as the Internet loves pretending that Godwin's Law trumps all Nazi references forever, it still remains that Nazi Germany did these same things.

For everyone who thinks the agents here were in the right (they weren't), then I invite you to explain why they deleted this guy's cell video (which, obviously, he managed to recover).

Could you cite anything other than a russian state media article?

You can also check the guy's YouTube page (linked in this thread) for a post interview he does of himself. The agents attempted to delete the footage because they wanted to control the narrative. They failed.

Edit: Here's an article about how these 'border' checkpoints aren't at the borders at all.
