Anyone else notice that the white kids in the video look like they're sick of this shit? I bet this happens all the fucking time. It's not about race, it's about attitude. These kids have been told that everyone owes them, no one can tell them what to do other than their mothers. I'd bet money they'll all either be in jail or knocked up by 18.

These yuppie crackers don't know what it's like to be the only white kid in a room packed with rowdy, ghetto black kids. This is every bus ride home, every passing period, every home room, every study hall. When I watch that video I feel every tense muscle in his body, every beat down scenario playing out in his head, every thought of home. Sure, it's not about race, it's about attitude. There are probably classes of white kids who do their own awful shit and subject the only black kids around to it; but this stuff happens too and you can't stuff your head in a hole and pretend it doesn't just because they're black.

I have to confess. I was one of the rowdy Barbie white bitches in high school. There was one black kid in our theatre class and he always looked like he was sick of our crap.

"Jeremy! Jeremy! We're going to dance to this song for snapchat Jeremy! Come dance with us Jeremy! Come lookit pictures of Misty's tiny dog Jeremy! Come guess which celebrity is gay with us Jeremy! Let's order pizzas to the school for lunch! Let's sing nothing but Disney songs for 90minutes."

And he was the only black guy some of us knew who wasn't trying to act like a super mean thug guy all the time so he got all our shitty question.

"Jeremy! Jeremy tell me what finna means! Tell me what a fade is. Tell me if mix tapes are real Jeremy. Tell me if you think nicki minaj is pretty Jeremy. Tell me why I can't touch her hair Jeremy. Tell me why you don't swim Jeremy. Jeremy. Jeremy."

I hope he doesn't still resent us.

He hated us.

I can completely relate. I wasn't the only white kid at school, but whites were the minority. Shit like this was a regular thing. Fucking hated school as a result.

If there's more than 4 or 5 of them together in a room, the teacher has her hands full. I went to a semi-private school that had to take the whole bell curve. It didn't happen often but one of my Spanish classes ended up like this. The teacher had to switch the seating charts every 2 weeks to try to find some way to separate them to make the classes manageable.

Epilogue: one got kicked out after that year selling stolen textbooks at a local college bookstore and another one got caught a year or two ago skimming credit cards at a fast food place.

I think a lot of the people on Reddit going "ugh racists" are ignoring that there are a ton of normal, well-adjusted black students who fucking despise the ghetto trash, too. It's not about race whatsoever, and there are white, asian, latino and even native americans who all act like this. It's about how they're raised and where they're raised, and it's embarrassing for everyone that's associated with them.

Well, lots of white people like to pretend that they've never been in a class where white people are the issues. Because Black people aren't going to sit there and record some White kid going on a completely unnecessary tangent and being pedantic when there's no need to be. The sky is blue says the teacher. No the sky is turquoise. Engage in 20 minutes of annoying ass trolling where other white kids hop into the defense of first white kid, when I just wanted to learn some fucking chemistry and get to the part where we mix a few things before the fucking class was over. I hated going to a mostly white school because the kids were so fucking privileged.

Oh. I suck at physics, let's get our parents to come up here and complain to the principle so he sits in our class a week and 3 of you end up in in school suspension. He finds out the fucking class is easy, I had a 102.3 for the fucking year and people were bitching about how hard it was. There were 4 people with A's, guess who? All the fucking silent kids who didn't spend 20 minutes to the whole 50 minutes trying to troll/be pedantic/argue semantics. Both races have their ways of completely ruining a classroom.

The difference is we don't record this shit and post it and then call you guys assholes. And then when a white person does record and post it, people herald the pedantic asshole as some savior and how more kids should think. A teacher was hired to teach a curriculum. It is their job to teach it. You don't want to do your homework and then want to go on a tangent in front of people and get posted to youtube as the way kids should be when that doesn't change the system. The system is still the same, you're suspended with your 15 seconds of fame and you just made the quarter potentially harder for the rest of your class because they lost a day of learning the shit. There is a completely different way people interpret the two things. This could have been lunchtime when this occurred. The fact that if you watch the video version of it, that half the seats are empty, showing it was probably in a free period or study hall. Two white kids in the back left side of the class are talking not even facing the boards. Not a class.

I found the guy who thinks this is about race. Also, if it's not a class, tell me why that kid sat there instead of leaving. You think he had a choice of being there?

[–]capontransfix 7 ポイント8 ポイント  (7子コメント)

Actually, what I saw I the video (not in the gif) was at least one white boy dancing on his desk (screen right), and a couple black kids who were sitting quietly, probably also irritated.

Edit: i was wrong; after he gets off his desk you can see that the kid in question is not white.

[–]Luph 9 ポイント10 ポイント  (0子コメント)

That kid is black too. He just has lighter skin.

The one in the black t-shirt when the video pans to the right momentarily? They get off their desk and walk to the back, and i'm preeetyyyy sure that person is black. Not to nit pick or anything.

Yeah after he gets off the desk I can see I was mistaken.

I watched it a couple times and he looked white to me. Looking again I see he gets off his desk and he isn't. Thanks for the name calling though, guy.

[–]lewko -1 ポイント0 ポイント  (0子コメント)

I'm not surprised. Have you ever seen a white guy dance?

[–]lowpass 4 ポイント5 ポイント  (2子コメント)

Honest question: What other white kids? There's a couple other kids in the background just sitting there watching, but it's both hard to tell their race and hard to get a sense of how they feel about what's going on, since they're shown for less than a half second.

[–]babydoll66045 3 ポイント4 ポイント  (1子コメント)

It may be the actual video I'm thinking of. The camera shows a guy (?) on the far right, in the back. Then, right before/after the fall, it pans to the left. There's a group of 3-4 sitting in a circle, looks like they're doing group work of some kind. They're on camera long enough to see faces. Not "haha, this is funny" face, but a "fuck, again?" face.

Look, I'm not saying all black kids are like this. I went to a high school that was 90% black, the other 10% was white and Asian. You have a mix of trouble makers and the like, just like any school, but given demographics in the school, OF COURSE they're going to be black. Just like if you were in a school of mostly white kids, it would be white kids being the assholes.

BUT, in this situation, it was the black kids. In THIS situation, it looks more like a pack mentality of "us vs. them." Now, whether that's because of race or because they're the class trouble makers, it doesn't matter. The fact is, you can see the looks on the rest of the faces, no one is laughing and grinning. It's not just a "haha, lets be dicks today." I know that look, I've made that look so many times that I can see it in my sleep. We need to get over this "because they're kids..." mentality. You behave this way, you're out. Go to a different school, home school, I don't give a fuck. It's not right to make every one suffer because you want to prove you're a badass. You can't get your shit together and go to school, fine. Maybe a vocational program is in order. But this? This is bullshit.

The black Americans in modern society have a habit of self-segregating. Just this week I heard a group, of varying ages, claim that the city in which we reside needs a place just for blacks. There are several things wrong about this.

First, the reasoning was that their were neighborhoods for Jews, for Italians, for "whites", and there are four things wrong with this: there is no neighborhood for "whites"; the neighborhoods which have ethnic associations are based upon ethnicity or religion, not skin color; these ethnic associations are historical from a time in the past when immigration was much more prominent and education was much less prominent, thus creating a social divide among various ethnic groups; and these neighborhoods are presently very integrated and diverse.

Further, the city we live in is Pittsburgh, which has a black population of nearly 30% - which is over TWICE the national average population of blacks. Blacks in Pittsburgh are the majority population in the following borroughs: Homewood, Larimer, East Liberty, Garfield, Hill District, Uptown; in some they are nearly exclsive. In addition, the areas of Hazelwood and Homestead are approximately 50% black. To say their is no neighborhood for blacks in Pittsburgh is just an outright lie. If the unincorporated municipality of Wilkinburg is included it's even more untrue.

Finally, what good would come from forcably seperating people based on skin color?

These are just black racist who want to use racism in order to lower the expected standards and requirements for themselves by dragging everyone else down with them.

My sister teaches in an all black school and besides a few kids none of them care to learn. The scene in this video is exactly how it is every single day. In fact there was a viral video a couple years back of one of the teachers bitching out her kids for not listening, a student recorded it and posted it online and the teacher was fired. These kids get no discipline, not at school, not at home, they're allowed to do whatever the hell they want. But more than anything it pisses me off because it adversely effects those that go to school to learn.

If white girls were doing this to some popular song it would become a viral video.
