They had a website where you entered a code. I'm not sure where the code was supposed to come from, but somebody figured out most of it so it was just going back and forth using a unique name and changing a few digits until you got it. Then you got three lines (like 10 characters each) engraved.

So I'm a little frustrated right now.

I bought a whole red snapper from a trusted source. The eyes are bright and clear, the scales firmly attached, no smell aside from that of the ocean.

Probablem is, it's flesh is like mashed potatoes. Filleting it was near impossible. I got one shitty looking fillet and two less-than-halves.

What the fuck? I've never had this much problem with any fish. Does anyone have any explanation?

And unfortunately the receipt is underneath a layer of garbage.

Okay, my somewhat loyal co/ck/les. I have issues.

Don't worry about getting fancy with the food. Just cut it up and stick as much as you can in the oven. Stick as much as you can into a pot and boil. Just stick stuff into whatever cooking sources you can find. It doesn't sound like you have time to be getting intricate.

Cooked meat can be used for other stuff in the future.

Yeah, I'm doing that with some things. Like the fresh deer sausage, I'm going to crumble and cook and refreeze for use in breakfast tacos or whatever. But I have 2 gallons of fava beans that can't be refrozen as is, a pound of pitted fresh sweet cherries, 2 tubs of quince butter I made last fall, a whole wheel of brie, over a pound of sashimi grade ground tuna (that I was giong to make sushi with, but obviously not anymore), 2 lbs of mackerel steaks, and a fuckton of other sausages (mostly bratwurst. weisswurst, and country sausage, but I'm going to pre-prep those and then refreeze them so they're ready to throw on the grill). I also had to bake two large mince pies I had in there, and I have 2 lbs of awesome Gulf shrimp that have to be dealt with (I think I'm just going to do a boiling pot with some of the sausage.) And that's not all, my mind is just swirling with the shit I have to try and use up.

Puer is a dark tea, it has been prepared in a way which preserves a live culture of bacteria and stuff on it and so it ages and slowly ferments, turns darker, as the years pass. That's why aged puer is very expensive.

I'm a beginner and I really like to cook... But I can't tell if I seasoned stuff well.

Made this yesterday and can't really tell if I got salt and spices right...

Will this get better with experiente or did I get fucked up tastebuds and should give up and just eat hotdog pizza with whipped cream topping?

you usually pretty quickly learn how a dish with not enough salt tastes like

and you also learn to see if it needs something else, heat, acid, sour and so on.
