For those unfamiliar with Lol drama and celebrities, Link was one of the players of CLG Gaming, one of the most popular North American teams. He was known for being a decent player, but choking up in big tournaments or matches that were crucial, which is why the /r/lol community always had a field day trashtalking him and basically everyone agreed he should leave the team. He stepped down yesterday after a year and a half of constant criticism from the community.
And today he wrote a 18 page document, talking about everything, his teammates, his organization, the hate he recieved, etc. The community reacted in different ways:
Was the culprit the lead player all along? Was Link just a poor victim?
Others think he's just deflecting blame to distract everyone from the real problems of the team.
Another player from the team then responds to Link's document, disagreeing on many of the points he made. The community also reacts to that, with different results:
Is Link burning bridges by being so critical of his former team?
Is doublelift just deflecting blame like link? Is he again promising to change despite never doing it?
Is he just a spoiled brat?
Minutes later another thread is created, discussing why the NA scene turned into such a soap opera this last months. People differ on the answer.
Someone thinks it's because it's all NA has in the competitive League scene.
So yeah, i hope you enjoy this buttery drama, i'm sure doing it.
