They could not get lost. But if they do this seems like an OK solution.

I really like the child leash

As an adult with no children nothing brightens my day more than your spawn not getting in my way.

Few things get my blood boiling more than seeing a child on a leash. It's one of the most blatantly dehumanizing, degrading, indications of lazy "parenting" I've ever seen.

I don't understand why it bothers people so much. If it gives the parents peace of mind then I don't see why not, and I don't see why it's anyone but the family's business anyway. By the way, it isn't just so that the child can't run off, it also makes it a lot harder for someone to swipe the kid up the second your head is turned. It's sick, but things like that happen in this world. I see nothing wrong with going the extra mile to make sure your child is safe.

That 'logic' could defend just duct taping your kid to a wall in your basement and force feeding him sauerkraut his whole life.

If I asked my four-year-old if she wanted to be duct taped to the wall and force-fed sauerkraut her whole life, she would say no. (Well, first she'd ask what sauerkraut was.)

If I asked her if she wanted to wear this for a couple hours, she would scream with delight.
