I'm 27, actually. They started families young because they where farmers, they needed large families to run it.

My mother also had me very young as well, that's why I was able to know my great-great grandmother. I find myself pretty lucky to have done so.

Even if I was 15, why does that make a difference?

It doesn't. I'm just teasing. My ancestors in the 1600-1800's did the same thing. Huge families. Most did not survive. Thanks for the response.

Asking why my age is relevant is defensive? It's not the first time it's happened on this sub, that's why I'm asking and no one has given me an answer.
