So is dating someone in a different maturity range, optional. But makes you a loser.

there's a good saying that basically goes: Age doesn't matter so long as you're in the same place in your life.

This is really important in the 16-25 year old range of dating.

If you're in High-School, date someone in high school, (same stage of life.) if you're in college, date someone in college. If you're done with school but no job, date someone in the same position. If you're in your career and fully into adulthood? Date somoene in that position!

22 -> 17, is 2 different stages of life. The 17 year old is still in High School. The 22 year old is either almost done with University, or is working, or is unemployed. All different stages than high-school.

Any 22 yr old who goes back and dates a 17 year old in an entirely different maturity and life stage is a loser. That's plain and simple.
