Is your game crashing? Can't figure out how to do something? Want a new tool or feature? This is the place to ask these sorts of questions. The mod developers and other knowledgeable users will be happy to answer them. A new bi-weekly thread is automatically created every Sunday and Wednesday, so you don't have to worry about your comment getting buried. Keep in mind that discussion questions are better suited to their own text submissions.

I just want to know what the heck is going on. First things seemed dead, then the Gitlab is gone. The lack of openness really bothers me.

EDIT: They can't talk about it apparently, but there's no word as to WHY they can't talk about it, which is really upsetting.

guys im the creator of the google doc and i can restore it if you want but no dev has told me anything so i dont want to restore it just incase but if a dev wants to let me know what the christ is going on im happy to comply

It's sure looking that way. Hopefully it's because the devs were notified that Halo 3 PC will be released this summer with full modding support, and decided that Halo Online isn't worth putting time into.

    Pressing B (backing out of lobbie) as host while the game is starting ("Game is starting in 0 seconds, press X to delay the countdown") results in a crash.

    You also cant make someone else party leader, it doesn't show up on their screen.

    The game doesn't adapt to my screen resolution. I have a monitor with a resolution of 1024x768. But the game runs at 1024x576. I really can't play with these settings. Can anyone help me please?

    Try doing this:

    • right click eldorado.exe

    • properties

    • compatibility tab

    • run compatibility troubleshooter

    • troubleshoot program

    • the program opens but doesn't display correctly

    • change to correct resolution in-game

    That fixes 1920 x 1080p issues but I'm not sure about your case.

    Have you tried modifying the game.cfg with a custom resolution?

    Also, what the fuck sort of resolution is 1024x576? Do they even make monitors like that?

    Oh yeah, I have a 4:3 monitor, and the game only runs in full 16:9 resolutions. It goes from 1280x1024 to 1280x720, so I get black bars. I don't think there's a fix for this yet, but I actually like playing with black bars better, I think some games have a slight change in FOV when run in a 16:9 resolution instead that allows me to see more than in a 4:3 resolution.

    It's in the next version, but it's not as high-a priority as the server browser, Armour sets, etc.

    I hope in the future when all of the halo 3 stuff is toggleable, that there is a pure halo 3 toggle in the launcher. Sorry if this makes no sense I'm high as shit.

    Oh, is that what the DMG DRM and the ACC AR and whatnot are supposed to be? Dammit 343, you can't make a game like that. :( I'd like to see them added into Forge though, assuming that's possible. That way everybody can pick them up, and gaining them is all about map control.

    It can be disabled, but I believe they were trying to work out a toggle feature for hosts. So for now, sprint is enabled.

    at this point 0.5.0 is nearly mythical I don't think anyone is waiting for that. (this isn't meant to be offensive to the devs, just making a point that nobody is waiting for that to try and find games(: )
