It's just a garden me and my boyfriend stumbled upon while driving near Ashikaga flower park.
The garden in the advertisement we saw was very beautiful!
But the current condition was not..................







Wrong time of the year....



Only a few roses had bloomed...



I would like to visit it again in the future during the peak season...

My boyfriend rented a car and we went to Ashikaga flower park yesterday.
It's been a long time since the last time I rode a car.....
Anyway we also invited our friends to come with us (cos renting a car is not cheap!) but nobody wanted to go on 6th so we ended up going on a drive date.........
It was exciting though.



It only took 1.5-2 hours to reach the park. It was crowded.

I ate wisteria ice cream before going home..



We thought of going to Hitachi seaside park after this but it's kinda impossible cos it would take 2 hours to get there and it was already 2 pm.
So we went around Ashikaga......driving around randomly.....and found a random garden....

Well actually there's not much to write. The garden was under our expectation, we just came in the wrong time of the year LOL

May 4 was みどりの日 and we could enter Ueno zoo for free!
I'd never been to Ueno zoo so I went there with my friends last Monday.
I didn't take many photos though.
It was freaking crowded. Everyone went there because there was no entrance fee on that day only.

We ate unagi for lunch before going to the zoo.

We went home.....well not directly though.
I ate dinner and drank sake and whisky and some other alcoholic drink without leaving a single drop......and ended up torturing myself.
LOL.
Mineral water is still my favorite drink.

I went to Azalea Festival at Nezu shrine right after arriving back in Tokyo from Hitsujiyama park.
It was like 30 minutes before it's closed for the day........
And I only went around for a few minutes cos I had to leave for my zemi's party at 6 pm.

My bf didn't want to go here but he accompanied me anyway...









I think this place is not that bad??? Don't you think so?? I think the azaleas were beautiful?? :/



But yeah, I didn't take many photos.
It's getting darker.
I got home after the party at almost 12 am.
Last Saturday was a looooooooong day.

Disappointed with the bad weather last year, I went to this park again this year!
I had to get through the 2 hours journey again to the countryside.......but this time it was really worth it because it was sunny!

We had to walk for 20 minutes to reach the park.
