So about three years ago I started hormones and due to some medical issues I had to stop. Earlier this year I gave it another shot and lasted a bit longer. It was great while it lasted, the effects the changes the way I felt it was all amazing. Yesterday I was told that I'd have to discontinue them again. I'd rather not get into the details about what these medical issues are, I've researched them, my endo has consulted with other doctors so I don't think this is an issue that's going to be "solved" exactly. I just don't know what to do now that I have to stop again. Everything feels so fucking hopeless. I don't want to watch all the changes just fade away as I go off estrogen. I don't feel like I can come back from this.

I feel your pain. I will likely never be able to do HRT because of my own health issues. I'm not sure which is worse- getting a taste but losing it all, or never knowing at all what it's like. hug

Is it possible for you to get SRS? You wouldn't be on e but you wouldn't be producing t either if you had no testicles.

It's a family history/pre existing condition thing so there's no advice I can give for prevention, I think it's just a "luck" of the draw thing honestly

Just because you can't do hormones doesn't mean you can't transition.

Also, go for a second opinion.
