Mr. Murakami,
Longtime fan. In high school, “Norwegian Wood”, “The Great Gatsby”, and “The Catcher in the Rye” were my favorite books!
Anyway, I moved back with my parents in New Jersey last month, and suddenly, my commute turned into a two-hour train ride. What would you do during a long commute? Would you read? Listen to music with headphones? Personally, I've been taking naps or staring out the window mindlessly.

Dear Sleeping Commuter,
I used to live in Princeton, NJ. So, you are taking Amtrak everyday. I know that train ride is boring enough to be sleepy. I guess audio books might work for you. How about listening to Dickens?
