He does not wish to engage with you, does not appreciate that you initiated this conversation and has repeatedly asked you to cease and desist.

Cyberstalking, e-bullying, harassment, abuse, predatory behaviour and downvote brigading is wrong. As you all know, HeimerdingLiberal engages in all these activities and more. Taxpayer funded political operatives should not be behaving this way. Just because bullies can hide behind an anonymous Reddit account, that does not make it okay. This post is absolute immature bullshit. There is 0 need to personally shame someone over their political views. Seeing as votes happen before results, there is never a guarantee that a newly elected government will do anything productive at all. Even if he is wrong, and you disagree with him, once you've made your logical and reasonable political arguments that's it. None of this personal shaming of people who disagree with you. Political discord, dissent and discussion is vital to our system. Just because somebody's outspoken and maybe even brash about their views doesn't give us the right to do this.

If you don't like the trolling he keeps dishing out (I sure don't) then why post something targeting him? It's fishing for a flame war. I never, ever said that all opinions and views must be considered equal. I am specifically saying that making a post to mock and shame a single user over his offensive views is not necessary. If he is truly wrong it'll be proven beyond whatever he can say over the next 4 years. This post is just a targeted attack and I dislike that.

Secondly please expand on your point about my notions and what research you're referring to. Researching TexasNorth's views and statements or about scholarly debate? Is it my discomfort with targeted posts like this that's antiquated?

I think you're mistaken. I said political discord, not discourse. Meaning that argument is good in a democracy, not complacency. Ain't no high horse here, I posted this because I've never seen a full post actually targeted towards a user before. I've seen users be down voted to oblivion, totally silenced in comment chains and even banned by mods but never one user going after another. Perhaps this post was being cheeky, but I'm not comfortable with it becoming a trend.
