i'll not use this subreddit if a Swagbucks employee is part of the moderator group. In the Swagnanigans sub i had my non-offensive entry deleted without comment. Swagbucks did not explain why, nor have they replied to my comment-question nor the private-message asking why. i was not the only one. i do not take kindly to censorship. And i think Swagucks is rather rude and aloof in how they relate to community. Since Swagbucks has previously censored content, i presume they will again. Since Swagbucks staff only participate in the subreddit when they want something, i assume that they are not really in it for the community.

swagbucks OWNS this subreddit now, so you should just hit up /r/sbs

faceless kinda screwed over this subreddit.

Agreed. Though they do say they plan on giving this sub over to the users, i do doubt that they will relinquish top-mod ownership. Time will tell. But the way they went about this, and the way they have interacted with community (use it rather than participate in it), i do presume that this sub has been pwned by swagbucks.

they also paid for the sub. they might lie and say they didnt, but knowing what i do about useless, im willing to wager my sb account that he got paid.

i certainly suspect it. Swagbucks has given me enough reason to distrust their word. Even if all official Swagbucks reddit accounts are removed from the sub, i would still suspect them of employing shills. These concerns i have, are based on observation of Swagbucks method.

Another demonstration of Swagbucks 'using' the community rather than participating in it, is found in the recent /r/swaganigans forum. They sponsored a community contest, but then haven't bothered to post the result. A user did say that the prize had been given to them, but no word from Swagbucks if this is true. Furthermore, a number of users noted problems with the contest, some asked questions. Swagbucks ignored all. This to me is clear indication that they don't really care about community, their only concern being the promotion of company. There is yet more reason i think this way.
