I can understand being annoyed at Ellen for making it a bigger deal, and yeah, it’s kinda balls that he’s getting money for it. I get that. We have all been in that place where someone was terrible to use about our queerness… It would be great if we could get on that, too. 

But seriously? Beat the shit out of two high school kids because a guy wanted to do something sweet for his friend? With no ill will, and no intention of it blowing up? He just wanted to be a good best friend to his friend… and they both should get the shit beat out of them for that? What the hell?
