Shouldn't be knighted be saved for some people who really contributed to UK's society or something? I mean, he was good but he never carried the England team anywhere.

He's done football a world of good. He's personable, charitable, a leader and someone everyone in England looks up to. I definitely think he deserves a knighthood in the future.
