So you remove the mod who should have been head mod without doing anything yourself? In all times I've come here from /r/beermoney, I have never seen you do anything in regards to the community or upkeep of the sub. But now, all your doing is oppressing speech and banning others for speaking their minds. Never coming on a sub you mod anymore, that's for sure.

I've seen the thread... I'm not taking sides at this point like everyone else I have no idea what is going on. But if there is something going on it shouldn't take until the "following days" for that to communicate the issues to us. It doesn't take days to write up a simple explanation of basic facts. It's like he's just saying that so people will stay subbed in the hopes of us sticking around the sub despite this unpleasantness, trying to get us to stay subbed i the hope of seeing explanations in the following days. Really manipulative actually, so I've unsubbed.

Now from what I've seen Garwald has always been a fair and helpful moderator. I remember when he was first getting into this sub and building the side bar and stuff he actually messaged me after a brief convo we had over on beer money. As I am a Canadian who had been using swagbucks for over 4 years, he wanted to know any special info or advice I had for Canadians using swagbucks and he asked a bunch of helpful questions of me, so that he could have that info provided as the mod of the swagbucks sub, and so there would be info for people from various countries and not just from the American default of what offers/features are available for Americans. I thought that seemed like a really thorough and nice thing for him to do, to care about having a well-rounded perspective with info and input from different types of swagbucks users. Now all of that said, maybe there has something sketchy going on behind the scenes here. I don't know. I'm reserving judgement until I see proof that any of this is warranted. So if there is proof the sub is owed that. Otherwise I'm gone because I can only go by my personal experience that Garwarld seemed to be a decent person who genuinely wanted to help other users with their swagbucks experience.

I'm not reserving judgement. At the risk of being banned (I'm un-subbing after this post anyway), I'm giving the benefit of every doubt to Garwald.

Judging from my own personal experience:

1) Garwald = best mod ever. Always helpful, and has made significant contributions for the betterment of the Swagbucks community and beermoney in general.

2) Never heard anything from/about facelessace before this debacle.

Best of luck to this sub, but I'm not sticking around.

Yeah, I basically agree, that's what I'm saying. I mean, maybe something went on behind the scenes that we don't know about but I would need to see proof of that, and the onus is on this guy to show us proof in a timely manner (ie. should be today). Otherwise all I have to go on is my experience and what I've observed, and what I've observed is that Garwarld always did his best to be a fair and reasonable mod, and genuinely wanted to help people with swagbucks.

It takes days because he has to cook some up. Cooking up false information, or digging into the far back past to find even the tiniest mistake of something Garwald (and thus Facelessace also) didn't remove that should have been, or a single post he probably shouldn't have made but didn't cause any harm, takes times.

For what reason does Garwald have that he needs to lie? I've been on this subreddit since the start of March and have never seen you before. Who the hell are you and what have you done for this subreddit?

It was Garwald who referred me to this subreddit from /r/beermoney. It is Garwald who is the #1 link in googling "Swagbucks guide," which leads to this very subreddit.

This doesn't even make sense. The only people spreading misinformation is other posters, not /r/Garwald. If you are implying that his misuse was to stir controversy, he did no such thing. He never speculated on why he was going to be removed, and in the message sent to him, it was stated that he could make his own sub and get people over there.

If he is "misusing his moderator status" by not removing the posts from people who were speculating on why he was going to be removed and that is the reason for removing him, then you should remove yourself as a mod as well. You are the only current mod right now, and none of them have been removed.

So why don't you delete all of the data, information, and tips created by /u/garwald ? This only seems to be the fair thing to do since this sub has basically turned into a dictatorship. Otherwise why don't we just create a simple poll to see who people prefer be the Mod of this sub? This only seems fair since this is the first interaction I have seen facelessace have with this sub since I have been here (6+ months)

Congratulations on removing the only moderator (I don't count you, because what have you done before today?) from this sub, who took hours upon hours out of his day IN ADDITION to modding other subs, to make this probably the single-most helpful and useful destination for Swagbucks, bar none. The only reason there's misinformation is because you, the one who is doing all of this, refuses to give any information. /u/Garwald has done no "misinformation" or "misuse" since this whole debacle started, and has barely even speculated on anything so as to avoid doing just that.

Enjoy your empty husk of a sub, because you just lost 90%+ of its userbase and the mod who was its heart and soul.

And if there is good reason for all of this, you should have been upfront and presented the information immediately, not left everyone to speculate and argue about it for days like you seem to be planning to do.
