Absolfuckinlutely I can look back and say "I clearly know right from wrong," And were I there I would have done things differently. There were people Then that opposed the Nazi's, that knew what was coming, that saw the writing on the wall--Kristalnacht was in 38, well before the Concentration Camps began operating. There were plenty of people who knew exactly what was going on as Hitler rose to power, exactly what his intentions were. What unfortunate is that so many more people supported him, instead.

Much the same way people look back at American History pre civil war and argued, 'People are a product of their time, slavery was how it was, it was how the system was, people didn't know any better--even supreme court justices ruled that slavery was legal. So how can we look back at that time and judge them, now? Because there were abolitionists then who knew, who argued slavery was wrong, immoral, etc. They KNEW then just as we do today that slavery was wrong; that's how I can look back with clear conscience, and open eyes.

It is absolutely disengenuous--and just plain wrong-- to make this bullshit argument that you are--70 years later. Doing so is excusing this woman and all the others for their beliefs and their actions that slaughtered 6 million jews for no other reason that being Jews and another 5 million gypsys, gays, Poles and other "undesirables"
