Ferguson got police departments to start using body cameras. Not because Michael Brown was a sweet harmless little boy, but because they burned shit to the fucking ground.

You don't get it. The point is to scam people. If you turn the workshop into a place where it has a reputation for being full of scams and dangerous mods, where people release updates for their mods that contain code which obliterates their save games, then they stop using the workshop, and Valve might shut the whole thing down.

That's the whole point. Burn it down.
