Jahan Khalini All races and cultures bring us unique gifts and limitations demonstrating some of the best and worst of humanity. White people are no different. Don't despair over the future loss of the white majority in the US. The GOP and white majority backed by an increasingly apathetic electorate will almost certainly destroy our economy well before whites lose their majority status by implementing failed GOP trickle down policies. GOP trickle down policies are increasingly destructive and unsustainable. GOP Presidents created private sector jobs at half the rate of Democrats since 1961. Over the past 26 years, Democrat Presidents, Clinton & Obama, created 28 million p.s. jobs in 14 years compared to the 900K created by GOP Presidents, Bush I & II, in 12 years. It's highly unlikely our beloved country survive GOP and white majority rule for another 30 years. Our last GOP President lost 646K private sector jobs and gave us 1.3 trillion deficits, two unfunded wars and the Great Recession.

Sure will! Right after that happens for our current minorities. And remember no complaining when the new majorities try to appropriate your culture, the month dedicated to your culture, or when they make fun of your need for any of that stuff!

yes even though "white history" is taught 12 months out of the year! but only after 50-400 years of horrific institutionalized discrimination which will include (but won't be limited to) indentured servitude (you'll basically be the property of another human being! isn't that exciting!?!?!), disenfranchised votes (you might cast them, if you're allowed near the ballot box, but we won't count them), you'll be refused service (along with other examples of just patently wrong explicit discrimination based on your race... what an experience!) and if you're fired for being white you'll have no legal recourse what so ever!!!! oh the fun you'll have... wait until we start talking to you about your marriages, they're no longer legal, and how you won't be able to adopt or even foster kids (we might have to impose regulations on whether you can have them naturally).

so yeah, do all that and you can be treated like the rest of the minorities in this country. i mean, that's what your humorous comment meant right? that you want to be treated like minorities... or did you forget that all that other stuff came first?

Mr. Arroyo, the proposition you speak of was in reality the mass displacement and genocide of the native population, an oligarchy of elite white male land owners (later industrialists) with slaves and immigrants to do the actual work. If what you predict happens; it will be the results of centuries of bigotry and exploitation.

It's ALWAYS been that Cliff! The first settlers hated the Native Americans who pretty soon returned the favour. Then, as soon as different ethnic groups started to arrive, they immediately hated each other. Read some of the rabid loathing which was directed at groups like the Italians back in the 19th century.

The sins of the US are no more than the sins of any other nation. The achievements, including efforts to amend past sins, are far greater than almost any other nation has accomplished. If you have counter examples, please provide them.

But if you associate the US only with genocide and slavery then I guess you won't mourn its passing.

You are aware all these modern inventions are not solely by white inventors maybe you should look up black inventors that have a lot to do with our modern day comforts.

"Western culture" and the U.S. aren't synonymous. For example, all other countries considered "western" have abolished the death penalty. That's but one of several examples. But thanks for playing.

um, you do realize that the things you've mentioned weren't all invented in the u.s. (you do realize this was for the u.s. only right or in your white pride zeal did you miss out on that?) and not all of them were invented by specifically white people?

I am willing to bet white people get 90+ percent of the scholarships in the US. As a white person, you are only jealous the other 40% of the people get 10% of the scholarships.
