Right, because historically and currently blacks and whites have had pretty much the same opportunities and experience in this country, so it's perfectly legitimate to take any situation and reverse their roles.

The idea that a historically disadvantaged group of people should be babied, shielded from criticism of bad behavior and held to lower standards than the rest of society is paternalistic and in and of itself racist/bigoted.

I laugh at the thought that you actually believe this. Please explain to me, have Irish people been around longer than Africans? I ask this because there are Hieroglyphs in Egypt, which depict Egyptians subjugating darker skinned Africans to slave labor. It is and will always be much easier to hide the fact of one's nationality, than to hide the amount of melanin one contains.

I was born in Knoxville, am not dumb, but am not upset at the organizers of the AKA ball, because they let white, black, Latino & Asian girls in.

If you are throwing a party you can have whatever kind of party you want. If some people don't want to party with people that look different than them...well that seems kind of dumb, but I don't see any reason to be upset. Honestly I don't get invited to a lot of parties anyway. It's not very nice to call me dumb.
