MiscRapid firing, automatic railgun script (self.EliteDangerous)

Playing with Auto Hot Key and load outs in the ASP, I made this little script that allows you to fire railguns automatically and by staggering each shot between the two fire buttons, in quick succession.

Its not very ammo efficient but its helpful if you're a bad shot like me.

The script:

I'm not a dev, a fact of which this script is good evidence so if anyone knows a better way to do it then I'm all ears.

Sure it looks cool but I don't see how it would be any better than all railguns hitting all at once compared to missing multiple times from the staggered fire. Good luck hitting anything smaller than an Anaconda with all shots. ;p

I like how people are acting like this is a cheap tactic. Sorry, if your future space ship with SIX FUCKING RAILGUNS can't automate its fire for maximum efficiency then it's not a futuristic battle ship. It also just makes more sense that you could fire six different rail guns like this. IMO, OP is compensating for a developer oversight more than anything.

It seems like loads of people think this is tantamount to an aimbot, or that it's game breaking. Lots of those people are also mentioning using Voice Attack in their posts, which literally does the same things as a script like this. I would guess that this struck a nerve with so many people only because it directly involves weapons, which could directly impact their playing experience, albeit minimally.

So it's the same amount of damage as firing all of them at once, but over time and with less risk of wasting six railgun shots. This is pretty awesome, don't listen to these douchebags, OP.

The amount of stupid in this thread is incredible... This is doing nothing that couldn't be done by hand, it's not as if he made aimbot or anything. And as for people not being happy about using external programs to control some of the game, what about voice attack? Or even the inbuilt macro keys included with many gaming keyboards?
