Rs3 player here. While I kind of agree, the cosmetics are went too far here, I don't have problems with cosmetic armour as long as they fit in the game, not like those onthe picture (read: ridiculous outfits, wings, overrides etc..)

Trust me, even Rs3 players don't really like these outfits.

It's pretty simple guys. Cosmetics (the wings, the eyes, etc) are all things that can be worn over your actual armor. "Hey, I just walked into GWD and oh, there's a man in a fox costume with giant fairy wings beating the living crap out of a huge ogre boss, with an umbrella." The chicken outfit that people keep referencing could not be worn as an override, which is why people didn't mind it. Nobody actually ever wore the damn thing unless they were bankstanding and even then it was an uncommon sight. You guys understand this, right? They aren't the same.

Apart from this oufit stuff, could we just not hate eachother? We playing the same game.

I 100% agree with you. I guarantee you 99% of the people who call RS3 "WOW" haven't even touched EOC. It actually makes combat require skill by using the right ability at the right time instead of just clicking on the monster and clicking on food when your hp gets low.

I pretty much just "quit" rs3 for 07 yesterday.. I'm hoping to get away from all this and have some regular old fun

I feel like this is going to be a more common thing, especially if Jagex goes with their 1 big update a month thing. I have my issues with RS3, there are a lot of good things, but basically I got severely bored with the game and all the updates so far have been microtransactions, its like a snapshot of what's to come with one update a month.

I've played OSRS on the side for a long time in addition to RS3 but this month I've only played OSRS and with the progress I've made, I dont see myself on RS3 anytime soon.
