yeah so that whole discussion about “callout culture” was fun for a while when people were discussing actual problems (people making public callouts over incredibly minor offenses, literal children being held to the same standards as grown-ass adults and as a result being afraid to make minor mistakes on tumblr, etc.) but now previously outed abusers and violent bigots are coming out of the woodwork to go “exactly, callout culture is bad, also i did nothing wrong” and people are reblogging them by the thousands and going “gee how insightful”
