[–]Jerks_took_my_name[S] 7 ポイント8 ポイント  (1子コメント)

Stretch marks from like 13 years ago. The ones on my back just never got better. I have them on my knees and hips as well but they're faded

[–]Dietyz 0 ポイント1 ポイント  (0子コメント)

my brother has them too, the skin on your back is thicker so things fade wayyy slower if at all

I'm glad you asked. I was too afraid. What if the dude really was whipped? I feel like that would be some traumatic shit.

If you ever to chose to punch someone, know that arm strength and speed have very little to do with the power of your hit, it's all in the hip motion. (Source: use to box)

I've been lifting almost 2 years. Started with Stronglifts. Ran Madcow Intermediate for a long time. I did 2 cycles of Madcow Advanced (2 months each) but didn't like it much. Last cycle ended at Christmas, but prs of S 315x3, B 250, DL 405.

I bought myself Practical Programming for Strength Training for Christmas and that taught me a ton about training. I had started 2 weeks of 5/3/1 in January then switched to a 4 day Texas Method template in the book (http://imgur.com/5XytAu8). I'm adjusting that template a little. I do 5 sets for all accessory work instead of 3. Superset Curls with LTEs. I'm sticking to only the "week 1" version and dropping the power lift, instead doing more squats or DL variation.

I hit some prs this Sunday, S 345, B 265, Dl 445 and have a meet March 21. This program has been working super well for me.

I don't track my calories or macros, not for a long time. But this bulk has been pretty consistent so, post workout (a.m.) 750g Greek yogurt. Lunch had usually been 1600 cals at McDonald's. Sometimes I brought food (chili for example) dinner is usually a normal balanced meal with rice/pasta, veggies, and chicken or pork or fish (basa mostly). Add a few pieces of fruit and if I feel like I didn't eat enough, a bowl of potato chips or nuts for a snack. I rarely drink and avoid drinking my calories (mostly water, diet pop). I also supplement a multivitamin, fish oil, and vitamin D.

I feel like I'm you, but 1 year behind, and much chest hair behind.

6'1", 212, 31. Pretty similar body type, but a little less lean mass. In month 5 of SL.

Bench 210x5

Squat 235x5

OHP 145x5

Rows 170x5

DL 285x5

Obviously Squat and DL are lagging a bit.
Did you have a good leg base before you started? I'm stalling rapidly in the Squat game.

Also, I've seen a few of your posts on different subs. I've been chasing your numbers for inspiration...

Hey man you're doing great for just 5 months. Those are 5x5 numbers? Your presses are awesome. Just keep working man, I've got 1.5 years more time at this than you lol. Squats are my worst lift. I played hockey from 4 to 18 yrs old so I had alright legs but then I didn't do shit for 9 years and lost all my strength.

[–]Munshaw 0 ポイント1 ポイント  (0子コメント)

Yeah my presses are doing well. It's funny, my DL still feels like I have a lot of headroom, but man my squats are struggling. Had my first deload last week and I went all the way back to 185 from 235 to let my body catch up. Walking into the gym every second day and setting PBs in multiple lifts is beginning to take its toll... I may switch to hypertrophy routine come cutting season starting April 1. With two kids at home and a job that requires me to be in good condition, I don't think my body can take this kind of heavy abuse much longer.
