So for various reasons which will become clear I've stumbled upon what is probably going to be pushed very soon by Anti GG. An almost entirely unknown indie developer whose just starting up is claiming they're studio is being targeted by gamergate.

So as with every other time this has happened they've set up a funding thing to get money to prevent harassment because apparently Gamergate is now some mafia organisation demanding payment?

Now you're seeing this in the reverse order I discovered this information during my searches round.

I've edited the twitter handles out because you know the moment I post this some-one in aGGro will screen shot it and claim it's evidence of Gamergate targeting the person and the other accounts I ran into are not the public developer account listed on the go fund me page.

Before ending up at the the funding site I ran into this

So you might wonder why I'm showing this ? Well its the developer asking for the help of Chloe Segal (the home sick developer who has before claimed she couldn't afford food). The help is of course financial and asking to help her friend be able to save her pet horse.

Yes really you read that right the developer is asking someone who claims they can barely afford food to help pay what are presumably vet bills for a horse. You know quite an animal often associated and owned by the rather privileged here in the UK.

it gets batshit crazy though when you realise the developer account for CIRCENYX has a patreon link that patreon link goes to the patreon of Chloe Segal

How did I find all this out ?

Well this happened to me earlier

A large series of favourites on Anti GG tweets that for the most part were claiming I don't know Science and the media has never shown video games as causing violence before. Never given platforms to people wishing to censor art in their moralistic campaigning. etc etc, you get the point.

Now I wondered if it was someone who had blocked me shooting from the side lines try to and be annoying without engaging with me (which would be considered harassment under twitters new policy).

I ended up on their twitter

Which again links to the Go fund me I linked as the first link.

So because this is a weird super messed tangle here's the quick version.

• Someone claiming to be starting out as an indie developer Favorited a load of anti GG tweets directed at me. Their Twitter account links to a Go fund me.

• The developer was talking to another person

• On the other persons twitter they link to the same Go fund me and were trying to get the attention of Chloe Segal to help save a horse.

• The Go fund me links to what I presume is the developers main public Twitter account

• That twitter account links to Chloe Segals Patreon

*Oh and we also have a fantasy artist / video maker running a Patreon to fund her owning and keeping a horse.

So the way I see it either one of two things is going on.

1) the developer is desperately trying to get attention from Chloe Segal and or play off the name Chloe Segal as made for herself in the indie community.

Or

2) It's all Chloe Segal who has set up a series of accounts and had conversations between accounts to try and pass herself off as a different person in an attempt possibly to get away from her past. (Which sounds entirely bonkers I know but people do some mad things)
