  • A) Guy hires strippers for odd jobs
  • B) Girl realizes what kind of guy hired her (see Part A above)
  • C) Girl nopes the fuck out when guy aggressively attempts to get her naked

I'd be more on the fence except for OPs comment below:

Her day job is a stripper. How the fuck do you strip and then decide that a photoshoot covered in books is too much?

Something about that reads so skeevy and unempathetic. That he's oblivious to exactly what he was doing. Assuming a stripper should want a job getting naked in front of some guy with a camera because it isn't pornography.

Honestly don't know how many guys approach female friends of mine at bars and such asking them to model for photography. I don't even think they're making anything inherently dirty; just shit art hinging on it being softcore (aka cover a naked girl in paint or something). And constantly blows my mind that more than just not seeing what might be odd about proposing that; but that they almost seem taken back by the turn down, like the girl had a problem.

I think you might be reading too much into this. OP wanted a sexy lady for a photoshoot so he found a sexy lady and reached an agreement with her. Sexy lady has no issues showing her body onstage so when she cancels the seemingly modest shoot the behavior seems incongruous and since they had a deal set up probably pretty irritating.

It sounds like you're coming at this from a very understandable angle, but also that you're carrying the baggage of all those sketchy things into a situation that isn't directly comparable. TBH I totally get what you're saying and you could be more right about this than I am, but maybe we should hold off on passing judgment.

Another thing to think about is the fact that this girl agreed at one point and then got too weirded out and decided not to. All this while she's a stripper and probably has to deal with creepy guys all the time

Yes but she might only have to deal with creepy guys in a busy bar surrounded by lots of people. I can imagine it being a lot more intimidating or worrying if they were alone in that creepy guys house or some other secluded location.

I know if I reached an agreement and someone backed out after committing to it I would be a little peeved and would definitely be unempathetic towards them and their situation. Especially if they gave me an obvious bullshit reason. If she would have said "I don't feel comfortable doing this with you" it would be a different story. Or even if she gave anything remotely close to an honest answer. But claiming something is too revealing when your day job (night job) is literally dancing naked on a stage is just... stupid.

Does she take nude photos for her day job? No. Most clubs don't allow cameras. So what she considers too revealing on camera isn't necessarily what she would consider too revealing onstage. The two are unrelated.

That would make sense, until you realize she agreed to it... THEN backed out.

I think this is one of those thing you are allowed to back out of if you find the setting to be unprofessional and potentially dangerous. Many creepy people have used photoshoots a way to lure people in their apartment where they are isolated and under more pressure. I've gotten offers from a few photographer for costumes who clearly had the intent to pressure me into getting out of them. Lots of work like this allow you to back out. If she thought it was a professional shoot and she finds one guy with an Iphone camera, no proper lighting and no set up besides his carpet it is natural to find it suspicious. She may have agreed at it first under different circumstances, but she is in no way obligated to do it. She may be a stripper, but she is allowed to put herself out of harms way.
