So on October 31st 2014, the blog “predator-exposed”, which bills itself as “a safe space for people to come forward about their personal experiences” and “a record of people who have been named as abusive or predatory” (generally a noble goal), made this post.

Potential predator alert: If Tumblr user Atesh/xenix (“xkit guy”) has ever made you feel uncomfortable please let us know.
Please let us know if his actions towards you were ever predatory/made you feel uncomfortable, if he’s ever solicited/harassed you for nudes, or anything else.

The post, unlike usual posts by this blog, included no sources or evidence.

When asked for sources, they gave this extremely dodgy explanation:

The warning post itself was made due to the fact that an individual had a conversation with one of the people who helps run this blog about atesh/xkit guy’s actions towards them and their experience with him and it was gross and generally predatory, but this person wishes to not be involved in this, as they have every right to not want to be, so the only thing we were able to do was make a warning post in the hopes that someone else had a story to share about him, but we unfortunately haven’t received any submissions/asks on him at this point in time.

As far as I can find, no one ever came forward.  However, a number of people apparently decided to take matters into their own hands.  As the “XKit Guy” himself, xenix, remarked in his last Tumblr post, dated November 2014:

the worst thing about being told you are ‘trash’ and ‘scum’ for day after day after day for months is after a while you start to doubt yourself. and I am not sure if I ever felt this disoriented, ever.

The most recent update to XKit, as recorded on the extension’s official blog, happened in late January of 2015.

If I had to guess, I’d say he isn’t coming back
