オーストラリアの写真家、レイ・コリンズさんが写す波はまるで別世界の波のようだ。

彼の写真の中で、波は山になり、荒れ狂い、そして華麗に振舞う。コリンズさんは、自分が撮った波の写真を「気まぐれな海景」と呼ぶ。

「撮影した光や水、波の動きを、色々な人に見てもらいたいと思っているんだ」とコリンズさんはハフポストUS版に語る。「アーティストは、常に自分の作品を見直すことで成長するものだからね」

写真集『Found At Sea』第2版の刊行に合わせて公開された冒頭の動画では、コリンズさんが炭坑で働いたあと、海に出て波の姿を撮影する様子が紹介されている。また、彼は自分が色覚異常であることも語っている。

CORRECTION: The lava that flows into the water measures in the thousands of degrees Fahrenheit. The water temperature measures 110 degrees.
The word Zipolite comes from the indigenous language meaning "beach of the dead". The name comes from the beach's dangerous rip currents and monster waves.
Shark attacks have killed numerous tourists and locals alike over the years.
Box jollyfish, venomous snakes, crocodiles and even flightless birds can get you here.
Drug violence has, unfortunately, overrun this famous beach area.
It is probably not safe to go back in the water at any of these 10 dangerous beaches.
