I know men well enough to know what I was hearing. I spent an entire month listening to men or female gender traitors (they had to know that they were selling out women and supporting the patriarchy) give long flowery variations of "But not all men". I said what they wanted me to say, I did what they wanted me to do, and let them believe that they were making a difference so I could get back out. They took issue with my stance as a political lesbian initially so I pretended to back off of it pretty quickly. Their intended end game was to get me to get me back into hetero-captivity.

also, if we assume everything you say about men is true, and that judging by modern standards is therefore oppressive, would that not make oppression a necessary evil by your logic? as the alternative is that human beings cease to exist, because to not oppress, we would have to not reproduce either, which is about as close to "bad", in the philosophical sense, as i can think - as it seems to me the basis of all philosophy is the existance of a being to philosophise in the first place.

A deer doesn't oppress human women. A male deer doesn't revel in their ability to oppress female deer.
Taking care of the male problem wouldn't require the extinction of women. I've outlined my position pretty clearly in the past but I'll do it again.
We need to remove men from positions of power and confiscate their property. Their crimes against women justify this and more. After they are removed from power, they'd spend their days trying to repair the damage they have done to the planet; cleaning toxic waste sites, removing nuclear waste, etc. My idea would be that they'd labor 16 hours a day under the direction of women. In order to prevent them from rebelling against their punishment and attempting to reclaim their ability to oppress, we'd minimize their rations so that they would have enough energy to perform the tasks that they are required to perform, but nothing more.
We'd no longer allow men to congregate in groups of more than two or three. They'd live in small apartments or shacks and would be kept under constant surveillance. If they interacted with women, they would be required to keep downcast eyes. We need to reinforce the fact that they aren't equal.
Male children would be separated from their mothers and sent to live with a male around the age 8 or so. This is also the same time that they would join the effort to clean up man's devastation of this planet.
Male children's education would consist of trying to educate them how to resist their toxic urges and overwhelm their propensity for violence. If a man's life is going to be spent performing manual labor, there really isn't a need to educate him in reading and writing. If we remove the tools he uses to oppress women, we might be able to make him less dangerous (though they still should never be trusted).
We'd educate women as usual, but with an emphasis on empowering them and showing them heterosexuality is a lie and only exists because the patriarchy brainwashed women into it from birth.
We'd have to institute a sperm donation center until we perfect parthenogenesis. Of course, only the sons of the most docile of male children not be aborted. As time progresses we'd attempt to dwindle the male population down to 5% of total population (or whatever the minimum is necessary to maintain biodiversity). PIV would be made illegal. Any male caught participating in it would receive a death sentence and we'd help women overcome the trauma bonding they experienced. When parthenogenesis is perfected, we'd allow men to die off without bringing any more into the world.
Women would live their lives free from men's oppression, men would receive the punishment they so richly deserve, and the human race would keep on progressing, just without the dead wait that males bring to the table.

Parthenogenesis will be ready in a few years and in the meantime we can harvest semen from the surviving males and the only male offspring we will not abort will be from the most docile of men.
