I'm guessing a lot of child molesters will become "transgender" now, so that they can go to a women's prison. It worked for Bradley Manning, didn't it?

There aren't, or shouldn't be, any children in prison with adults.

Additionally, transgender individuals are significantly more likely to be the victims of rape then the perpetrators, especially in prison.

Umm, there was sufficient evidence to indicate Manning was transgender before all of that. Secondly, Manning, like any inmate, must first be diagnosed and prescribed the medications and treatments. So, no one, child molesters included, can walk into prison and wait for the cell attendant to stop by, "Yes, I would like to order the HRT and can I reserve a sex change surgery for the first available, please?"

Also, why would a child molester choose to undergo a sex change? They probably didn't assault children because they're suffering from gender dysphoria. They are probably mentally ill and suffer from sex addiction. Removing their penis would take their power away and why would they want to do that?

They don't have to get the sex change. After they get out of prison, they can just decide that they were wrong about being a woman on the inside.

If they don't get the surgery then they're not going to the women's prison. They're going to stay in general population or protective custody in the men's prison... As I understand it, many child predators get attacked and end up in some form of special protection eventually. So nothing has been accomplished?

Why do they have to get the surgery to go to the women's prison? That's transphobic. Next they'll need surgery before using the bathroom they choose?

First off, don't say we. You don't need to insult these people with your ridiculous argument. To entertain your question, it's a matter of having male genitalia. They're not going to stick a trans woman in a women's prison for everyone's protection. Not that it's necessarily compassionate but it's how it works. Same with a trans man and the men's prison.

2) So you actually support a trans female being forced to stay in a male prison, as a sexual object providing the best of both worlds to the semi-gay inmates? They can squeeze her artificial juggs while also giving him a reach-around? That's what you like huh? You bigots disgust me. You actually think a trans female is better off being raped in prison then around her own kind, in a safer female prison.
