A woman was raped, because someone raped her. Not because she wore revealing clothes, not because she was drunk, not because she went out too late. Not because of her.
Try wearing a bikini and walk down the alley at midnight, see what will happen and who fault it is! Every story has 2 sides. If a woman in shirt and jean come to the dental clinic to polish her teeth then get tied up to the chair and raped by the dentist, it’s definately not her fault. But if she pull down her pants and open up her shirt, walking around men shaking her butt then she’s definately creaming “look at me, stare at my belly and boobs!”. And unless she’s an old antiquity displayed in a museum, she can’t expect them to follow the rule “look but don’t touch.” Some men are just creepy and some women are just attention whores. That’s life!
Rape is terrible, doesn’t matter which gender is the victim. But that statement is just stupid!
Women is the weaker gender, so they’re the easy targets. And since a woman is an easy target, she has to learn how to protect herself. A guinea pig is a prey animal, and even after decates being human’s pet, their instincts always tell them to be carefull and it takes a while to earn their trust when they first come home. Even after the owner earn their trust, they can still be scared and hide away if he does something threatening. They have to protect themselves, they don’t roll around in front of a cat and yell “look at me, I’m delicious.” Stop blaming others and think about what you have done. Or stop wearing belly dance costumes going to a book store and then you grain the right to blame others.
