Pffffhahaha that christian Indiana pizza joint that said they would not want to cater a gay wedding when asked by some ambush journalist reporter looking to stir controversy over the Indiana religious freedom bill, has earned almost $1,000,000 in donations in 2 days from support after liberal butthurt people review bombed their business yelp page with false 1 star reviews to drive away customers lmao. They didnt even turn away any gay people or anything, just answered a question by a reporter about catering a gay wedding saying no because religious beliefs and that serving gay people regularly was fine.

Of course death threats were made over the phone and sent to them on twitter and they got threats that their business would be burned down.

So peaceful and tolerant.

I wonder if they would act the same way if jewish or muslim owned businesses had to make nazi signs or cater gay  muslim weddings or handle pork and they said no. Or if muslim bakeries also refused to serve gays..

I dont see the point in compelling and legally forcing them to serve others. For example, if a business makes wedding cakes and wants to tell some gay dudes to fuck off then they should be allowed. Makes no sense to punish and force them to take your money and make that cake when there is another business who does support gay marriage and would love to make your cake, who might even be struggling financially and could do with your publicity (”these guys hate gays but this place loves us!”) and business.

Let businesses do what they want and let people just not go there if they do shit the patrons dont like. In this case the bakery for example that told the gay dudes to fuck off would lose customers for their actions, and maybe they revise their anti gay service policy. You see this shit all the time with boycotts and “voting with your wallet” and general complaining on social media. But you know, maybe they dont lose profits, because people have different views and may now support the anti gay place. Its their right. Maybe a business still makes a lot of money because anti gay folks now go to support the only place who sticks up for their beliefs. It should be their right. Same if they dont serve jews or blacks or whatever, who cares. The business will fail and if not, then it just means you live in a world where people have different views and you should fuck off and not legally force people into doing shit because YOU disagree with them even if they are wrong.

The only thing that should not be able to do this are public services. Subways, police, etc. Anything private should do what the fuck they want and suffer the consequences of bad business practices. Not supporting this is like some kind of protection to help make sure shitty places who discriminate STAY in business lmao. In the case with the gay bakery, all the gays and shit would now purposely show up to buy things just to spite them.
