I'm new to this sub, but what the hell does this have to do with anarchism?

Monosexism/biphobia is an oppressive structure that needs dismantling just like every other oppressive structure.

I still don't understand how it relates to anarchism. Why are you blanketing those issues with anarchical views? I'm genuinely interested because I didn't know all of those issues fall under the same umbrella.

Anarchism is a social movement that seeks liberation from oppressive systems of control including but not limited to the state, capitalism, racism, sexism, speciesism, and religion.

From the sidebar to your right.

Citing the sidebar doesn't prove anything. I would much prefer an explanation from yourself arguing why one's sexuality has anything to do with anarchism.

This sounds like a n00b question. Asking a question and then responding dismissively when given answers. In this case multiple answers. I would recommend striking up conversation somewhere else.

From the sidebar:

If you are not yet familiar with anarchism, check out /r/Anarchy101.

If you want to debate, try /r/DebateAnarchism.

Total equality and acceptance is what we are trying to achieve through anarchism. These stereotypes against bi peoples are as destructive as racial stereotypes.

I get asked lot of those things in the link. It's disrespectful to not only me but also my girlfriend. I can love whoever I want without your prejudices. Anyway sorry for ranting

And I could have done without the thumbnail. Just sayin'.

What do you mean?

Off-topic, I realize. I don't care for her shtick. IMO she's overrated and "edgy" for the sake of being so but that's show business. She sells tickets and her stock is sky high. I can go only so far with my rant because she's on the picture radio and in the talkies and I'm not.

Again, just sayin'.

Sorry man I'm new here and I'm really confused by what you're saying. Anyways, this sub is a joke. No real discussions, no direction, just fluff and spin. I truly have no idea what one's sexuality has to do with anarchism...It makes one sound like a college freshman who's just smoked their first joint and suddenly they've "figured everything out".

[–]mackpayson -1 ポイント0 ポイント  (1子コメント)

No problem. The idea of anarchy appeals to me because I misbehaved as a child and young adult more than I should have. The older I get, however, the more I understand that I haven't figured anything out at all.

Still, like many subreddits, the reading's thought-provoking from time to time.

PS As far as "what one's sexuality has to do with anarchism" goes, be wary. There's someone, somewhere out there ready to take you to task for that observation. If they find you let 'em rip and refer if you wish to a quote from a syndicate friend of mine:

"Let your adversary talk. When he has finished, let him talk some more."

Cheers.

You really sound like you haven't the foggiest what you're talking about.

Also last time I checked anarchists talking to one another are comrades, not 'adversaries'. That's a poisonous attitude you have.
