Oh hell yes. Something with depth I'm completely unfamiliar with that I can just cannonball into and watch people go crazy over.

Fuck yeah, thanks OP.

An anarchist sub has elections? How civilized...

Anarchism is based on direct democracy.

edit - Avoiding a statement that came off as "drama-y" here.

Anarchism is different depending on the anarchist you talk to.

Anarchism, at it's core is isocratic, based on consensus, and direct democracy. The only anarchists who would disagree with that are either Anarcho-Capitalists, who believe that the free market will set us all free, or National Anarchists, who are racists coopting anarchist imagery for political gain. Neither group are actually anarchists.

All arguments between other tendencies begin and end with revolutionary or social focus. Or in the case of Anarcho-Primitivism v. Anarcho-Transhumanism, whether or not computers are OK. The only uniting factors are an emphasis on working together to achieve a classless state free of coercion and that Communists have historically been bastards.

This sort of shit is why I unsubbed from a the anarchist sub's back in the day. Nothing of value has ever come from any of them except drama, links without comments, and endless circlejerking.

There's some heavy irony in the fact that a sub about living with absolutely no rules has this many issues with people breaking their rules.

Honestly if it's gonna be about anarchy, shouldn't there be no rules and no mods? Oh, but that idea couldn't possibly work, could it? Wait, shit. Disproved your own sub.
