im not sure i get this. Questioning authoritarian rule leads to being lazy and living in your mothers' basement? Is it suggesting one should never question authority in order to avoid the fate of being lazy?

Questioning authoritarian rule is one of the greatest aspects of classic liberalism (now conservatism). We should not have unquestioning obedience to congress or the president.
