I’m so glad for the way this post went because it actually addresses the problems to be found in the tumblr feminist community.  Most times this is brought up, all I ever see is the “Well, those aren’t REAL feminists!!!” argument.  This is often called the “No True Scotsman” fallacy, and it is harmful because it distances the problematic members of a group rather than actually addressing the problems.  You can’t stop the problems that plague a community if you just say the problematic people aren’t really part of the community.
